{"id":408,"date":"2010-07-26T19:39:48","date_gmt":"2010-07-26T16:39:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/retriiverid.ee\/test\/"},"modified":"2022-10-18T10:52:19","modified_gmt":"2022-10-18T07:52:19","slug":"nouded","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.retriiverid.ee\/en\/aretus\/nouded\/","title":{"rendered":"Breeding terms"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul class=\"siseminemenu\">\n<li><a href=\"\/aretus\/nouded\/#Yld\">Common knowledge<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/aretus\/nouded\/#Labrador\">Labrador Retrievers<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/aretus\/nouded\/#Kuldne\">Golden Retrievers<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/aretus\/nouded\/#Muud\">Other Retriever breeds<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Common knowledge: <a name=\"Yld\"><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><strong>All puppies from parents in same\u00a0breed and with FCI pedigrees are always registrated in Estonian Kennel Union (EKU) stud book. \u00a0At the moment there are no mandatory breeding requirements for any of the Retriever breeds (updated 2016).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Only <a title=\"EKL\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kennelliit.ee\" target=\"_blank\">Estonian Kennel Union<\/a>\u00a0has the FCI right to registrate\u00a0purebred puppies in Estonian stud book, no breeder or any other Club or Society can not do that.<\/p>\n<p>To registrate a litter in EKU, owner of a female dog (breeder) must send a filled registration application and documents (mating contract, pedigrees of parents etc) before the litter is 6 months in age.\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Owner of puppy or any other person except the breeder can not applicate puppies for EKU&#8217;s pedigree.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Optional breeding terms for Labrador Retrievers<a name=\"Labrador\"><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>(There are no mandatory terms any more.)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hip dysplasia result: A, B or C.\u00a0\u00a0The dog with\u00a0C is recommended to mate with A.<\/li>\n<li>Elbow dysplasia result: 0 or 1.<\/li>\n<li>Eyes &#8220;clear&#8221; (not affected with PRA, HC, RD). Result can not be older than 2 years.<\/li>\n<li>Dog shows:\u00a0dam and sire\u00a0have at least one judgement\u00a0&#8220;very good&#8221; from two different judges; one judging must be\u00a0from International or Specialty Show. NB! Judgements from Puppy Class\u00a0are not suitable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The terms must\u00a0be filled before mating.<\/p>\n<h3>Optional breeding terms for Golden Retrievers<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Hip dysplasia result: A, B or C.<\/li>\n<li>Elbow dysplasia result: 0 or 1.<\/li>\n<li>Eyes &#8220;clear&#8221; (not affected with HC, RD, PRA).
